Maggie Mae's

An Austin Classic

lespaulloungeFor 32 years, Austinites have enjoyed the extraordinary facilities of Maggie Mae’s. Established in 1978, Maggie Mae’s is composed of four historic buildings, beautifully renovated and restored from the 1850’s. All these buildings add up to 14,000 square feet of space.

Maggie Mae’s has something for a variety of tastes: you can relax in a New Orleans-style courtyard, watch the game on big screens in a sports bar (don’t miss the daily drink specials!), or chat and order drinks at an authentic English pub.

As you explore the upstairs area, be sure to check out the Gibson Room, featuring custom-made Gibson guitars. In this room you’ll find the Les Paul Lounge, filled with dazzling works of art such as the Edwin Kramer Gallery of photography, as well as the artwork of Robert Hurst (adamnfineartist.com).

Maggie Mae’s offers private parties and catering for corporate events, awards banquets, weddings, birthday parties, class reunions, and more. In fact, they have a rich history of hosting events—in the past, they have hosted a “billionaire block party” hosted by Michael Dell (and attended by 1400 guests, including Microsoft founder Bill Gates!), as well as a casting call in Austin for the first “reality” shows on TV: the Real World and Road Rules. In addition, Maggie Mae’s has been an official host of SXSW and a sponsor of the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s “Ride for the Roses” weekend.

So, don’t wait—come on down to Maggie Mae’s and see what all the fuss is about!
