Maggie Mae’s offers private parties and catering for corporate events, awards banquets, weddings, birthday parties, class reunions, and more. In fact, they have a rich history of hosting events—in the past, they have hosted a “billionaire block party” hosted by Michael Dell (and attended by 1400 guests, including Microsoft founder Bill Gates!), as well as a casting call in Austin for the first “reality” shows on TV: the Real World and Road Rules. In addition, Maggie Mae’s has been an official host of SXSW and a sponsor of the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s “Ride for the Roses” weekend. For 32 years, Austinites have enjoyed the extraordinary facilities of Maggie Mae’s. Established in 1978, Maggie Mae’s is composed of four historic buildings, beautifully renovated and restored from the 1850’s. All these buildings add up to 14,000 square feet of space.
But that’s not all: Maggie Mae’s also features live music on three stages, each stage representing a different genre. Take in a unique view of downtown Austin on the gorgeous 5000-square-foot rooftop deck, the largest deck on Sixth Street.
